Level two Knitwear students have been involved in an exciting live project with Sophie Steller Knitwear Studio: http://www.sophiesteller.com/ working on designing directional and innovative knitted swatches promoting new yarns for the next season, for the trend area at Spin Expo, the worlds leading yarn and knitwear show, that takes place in Shanghai twice a year: http://www.spinexpo.com/ based around the main trend themes set by the Sophie Steller studio.
Work by Vikki Jones.
We had two overall winners, Kate Taylor, and Vikki Jones, who have won £100 each and a paid internship at Sophie Steller Studio, and three other students, Ellie Way, Alice Hazel, and Sarah Levings, also had fabrics selected by the studio, which they will make up into sample garments to have on the stand at Spin Expo.
