•      Has a minimum of a BA qualification in Fashion Design

·        Has good skills in collection- and colour coordination as well as in visual communication

·        Has knowledge of pattern making, sewing and textile materials

•        Enjoys teamwork

•        Likes a fast paced work environment

Fashion or Print Design Student 3 months PAID Placement at H&M

Are you a creative and innovative design student with a keen interest in fashion?

Do you have a good eye for trends? Are you interested in working in a customer oriented way?

Then you have the right qualifications to apply for a Fashion or Print Design Student Placement at H&M. The H&M Design and Buying Office is based in Stockholm, Sweden.

As a Fashion or Print Design Intern you will work in a team at one of our concepts. Together with the rest of the team you will produce and develop collections that will be sold worldwide in all H&M markets. We have two kinds of placements: Fashion- and Print Design Placements.

FASHION DESIGN INTERN: responsible for assisting the designers in developing the products.

PRINT DESIGN INTERN: responsible for assisting the designers in developing the prints.

We have three student placement periods during the year.

SPRING          Mars-May

SUMMER        June-August

AUTUMN        September-November

You will join one of our concepts: Babywear, Children’s wear, Women’s wear, Men’s wear, Underwear, Divided, Accessories, Denim, Shoes, Sports etc.

H&M is looking for someone who:

  • Is aiming for BA qualifications in Fashion/Textile Design. The placement has to take place during your education period
  • Is creative, visionary and has a passion for fashion
  • Has knowledge of pattern making, sewing and textile materials
  • Is able to understand the needs of the target market
  • Enjoys working in a team
  • Is fluent in English

What can H&M offer you?

  • A three months contract. The possibility of extending exists if both parties agree
  • Salary is 17 844 SEK/month before taxes
  • Other Benefits: internal trainings/courses, fitness contribution 1600 SEK/year and 25% staff discount within the H&M group stores
  • Insurance during your normal working hours at H&M
  • Your placement will be at one of our concepts, depending on our needs
