Creative Director, Rachel Rowberry, was so impressed with Jennifer she has now been given a permanent role as Print Designer at the company.  She is now the primary
designer on the Saks and JCPenney accounts, for which she does the trend
research, design concepts and colouring, and work alongside members of the
sales team and buyers. She is currently preparing for Fall 2016 on the Collection 18 line, compiling trend and colour research for the new season, which she will have to present to the entire design team at our Fall Kick-Off meeting, before designing the collection.

Congratulations Jennifer!

WSA Graduate Success for Jennifer Varty

Recent printed textiles graduate, Jennifer Varty, sets off for New York next week to start her year long internship at Collection 18 where she will be designing prints for womenswear accessories across a range of designer brands.

Jennifer was interviewed for the post at New Designers by creative director, Rachel Rowberry, an ex-Winchester School of Art graduate herself. Her final collection, inspired by mountaineering, and comprised of finely illustrated and textural prints and a sophisticated colour palette drew the attention of many visitors at both the WSA degree show and New Designers.
